We are always happy to hear from landowners who would like to work with us.
We make the whole process easy for you – guiding you through the legal and planning requirements which are a necessary part of a wind farm development, but which can seem daunting if you’re not used to dealing with these issues. We also carry out extensive community engagement around all our proposals, to address any concerns and keep local communities informed.
None of this will cost you a penny and you’ll receive a regular income stream when the wind farm becomes operational.
Our only major prerequisites for conducting an initial assessment of a site are that it is at least 200 acres in area in a part of the country with good wind resource.
Using our sophisticated Geographic Information System (GIS) we are able to assess the wind speed and proximity to other wind farms, aviation and radar considerations and any special environmental designations in the area.
This allows us to make a detailed initial assessment of your site’s suitability for a wind farm and get back to you quickly to let you know whether we’re interested. We’ll also send you a report of our findings.
We are an ethical company and we don’t land bank. That means that we won’t sign an option agreement on a site and then not develop it, as we believe that creates uncertainty and frustration for everyone. Instead, you can be sure that if we conclude an agreement with you, we will progress your site to the planning stage.
